Save an Artistic Landmark in SRQ

Read below to help us promote a great cause to keep a classic, wonderfully sustainable building in Sarasota! A brand new Riverview High School is being built near the existing site, but don't let a work of art be demolished! Let's re-use this historical and sustainable structure. Sarasota Architectural Foundation (SAF) is helping to spearhead a move to restore the building and use it for generations to come.

THE RIVERVIEW MUSIC QUADRANGLE is a plan for the reinvigoration and preservation of the Paul Rudolph building at Riverview High School. The design creates a space for Sarasota musical arts groups to study and perform. It presents the Sarasota community with a creative, practical use for this exceptional building

Your participation is needed!

Please send letters before March 15 to the members of the School board of Sarasota County, (addressing them by name) and include your address if possible. By using the links below you just have to fill in the details of the letter, it couldn't be easier! A copy will be sent to SAF.

VegSarasota wants the school board to understand that taking positive action toward keeping the sustainable history of Sarasota is more important than just saying they want to "Green Up" our wonderful city.
